Georgia Team in Rugby World Cup 2023 LIVE

The national team of Georgia which represents the country in the men’s international Rugby tournaments, the team Georgia is one of the most talented and emerging rugby teams.

The team Georgia competes every year in the Rugby Europe International Championship and Antim Cup, which is played between team Georgia and team Romania. The team also participated in the Rugby World Cup.

The Georgian Rugby team was formed in the early 1990s and after getting independent from the soviet union in 1991 the Georgian Rugby Union was formed in 1992.

Team Georgia is famous by the name Lelos among the fans. Over time, Lelos has achieved many victories and has won historic matches. They have won the Rugby Europe International championship fourteen times, and the Antim Cup sixteen times.

Team Georgia has played in five rugby world cups and has never gone beyond the Pool stage.

Mr. Levan Maisashvili is the current head coach of the team, In June 2023 Levan announced a team consisting of 36 players that will play in the Rugby World Cup for their country.

Team Georgia will be trying their level best to get beyond the pool stage and give a tough match to the other contenders.
